Our Story

Built On Hard Work And Trust

I always wanted to start my own business. My family has owned businesses over the years, so I was fortunate to grow up around hardworking people and receive good advice. Even with that background, I was always hesitant to take the leap myself. After spending 15 years in the electrical trade, I finally decided to give it a shot.

My twin brother actually got me into the electrical field when we were 20 years old, and today he’s my business partner handling the HVAC side of the company. We’ve always been hardworking people honestly, almost workaholics but we’ve always believed in doing things the right, leading by example, and treating people fairly.

One thing I’m truly proud of is seeing how all the years of hard work have grown into a business that not only supports our family, but also creates opportunities for others to grow as well. That’s one of the most rewarding parts of the journey.

Hello, I’m Jordan, owner of Coastal Comfort Electric. I’ve spent the last 17 years in the electrical industry, gaining experience across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. What has always drawn me to this trade is the opportunity to work with my hands, solve problems, and help people. While my role today focuses more on managing the day-to-day operations of the company, I still have a deep appreciation for the work itself and the satisfaction that comes from delivering quality results for our customers.

One of the most rewarding parts of owning Coastal Comfort Electric has been the people. I’m incredibly grateful for the team we’ve built and the customers who trust us with their homes and businesses. Providing excellent service, clear communication, and a positive experience has always been a priority for me. At the end of the day, our goal is simple: treat people the right way, do quality work, and stand behind what we do.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and making the most of life’s simple moments. I’m recently married and excited about the future as my wife and I look forward to starting a family of our own. My twin brother works in the HVAC industry, and together we’ve built Coastal Comfort around the values of hard work, integrity, and taking care of our customers. I also enjoy challenging myself through personal growth, staying disciplined, and finding balance in life. Whether that’s spending time at the beach, exercising, or taking a few quiet moments to reflect, I believe there is value in appreciating both the good times and the difficult ones. The challenges we face often become our greatest opportunities for growth, helping us develop resilience, perspective, and gratitude. I've spent the last five years in the electrical industry, and what I enjoy most is that no two days are ever the same. Every project brings a new challenge, and I take pride in finding the right solution while making sure the job is completed safely and professionally.

I believe great work starts with discipline and attention to detail, which is why I begin every day at the gym. Staying active helps me bring energy, focus, and a positive attitude to every customer and every project.

When I'm not working, you'll usually find me out on the water in my kayak enjoying the North Carolina coast or unwinding with a few video games. I enjoy meeting new people, solving problems, and helping homeowners feel confident that their electrical system is in good hands.

Outside of work, I enjoy staying active by working out with the crew, riding motorcycles, and spending time at the beach. I'm naturally outgoing and enjoy connecting with people, which helps me create a fun, friendly atmosphere while always maintaining a high level of professionalism and respect for our customers and their homes.

Looking ahead, I plan to pursue a new chapter of service by joining the United States Coast Guard, where I hope to continue developing my skills, taking on new challenges, and serving others. Until then, I'm committed to providing the same level of dedication, quality workmanship, and customer service on every project I have the opportunity to be a part of.

When I’m not at work, you’ll usually find me riding my motorcycle on a nice day, spending time at the beach, or hanging out with my dogs. Those activities help me recharge and bring the same positive attitude and focus to every job I take on.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter, staying active, eating healthy, and making fitness part of my daily routine. I also enjoy outdoor activities like snowboarding and hiking, spending time with friends.
